Submission Overview

Abstract submission from all disciplines involved in trauma care are encouraged, including physicians, nursing staff, and pre-hospital providers. Original research and quality/performance improvement projects are eligible for submission.

Important Dates

• Submission Deadline for Abstracts: May 1, 2026
• Notification of oral and posters winners: Week of May 11, 2026

Instructions

• The length of abstract submissions — including background, methods, results, conclusions — should be limited to 500 total words.
• Submissions must be done using the form below with an attached word document containing the abstract.
• The presenting author should be listed first in the order of authors. All communications will be directed to the presenting author only.
• An individual may submit more than one abstract.
• All abstract and presentation content must be in compliance with copyright laws.
• The recommended format for abstract submission includes a clearly stated introduction, methods, results and conclusions.
• Poster presenters are expected to be registered participants of the symposium. Standard registration fees apply.
• The oral winners will need to present a 5-8 minute PowerPoint presentation which will then allow a couple of minutes for questions.
