Hand surgery

We depend on our hands to do just about everything. When a hand is injured, it causes a major disruption to our livelihood and well-being. We understand the importance and value of your hands. We strive to deliver prompt and effective care to restore the quality of your life. Dr. Wind has the expertise to treat traumatic injuries to the bones, joints, tendons and nerves of the upper extremities. Reconstructive care is available to patients with arthritic conditions, nerve compression syndromes, tumors and congenital conditions.

Conditions of the hand are often treated with:

  • Splints
  • Injections
  • Individualized occupational therapy program

Surgical treatments include:

  • Correction of the acutely traumatized upper extremity (fracture and joint injuries, tendon lacerations, etc)
  • Correction of nerve compressive syndromes
