Our programs
Every day, our health system cares for people who have been hurt by violence or injury. Some patients return to the hospital again and again. We want to help stop that cycle.
Our Injury and Violence Prevention Program (IVPP) reaches patients at a key moment—while they are in the hospital and recovering. This is a golden opportunity when people may be ready for support, new tools and new choices. Our programs help reduce retaliation, repeat injuries and long‑term trauma.
Our goal is to prevent injuries and violence through proven methods and caring support for people and communities who have experienced trauma.
