Using VCU Health’s network of pharmacies is about to get even easier for patients throughout Central Virginia. Starting on Nov. 11, VCU Health is expanding free home delivery options to all pharmacy locations, making these pharmacy services even more accessible for patients.
Expanded home delivery options are also available to patients using VCU Health Tappahannock Hospital and VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital if prescriptions are sent to a VCU Medical Center campus pharmacy location.
VCU Health pharmacies offer services for prescriptions, prescription refills and a variety of over-the-counter medications. Those who are not currently VCU Health patients can also use these services. To have your prescription transferred to a VCU Health pharmacy, just call the pharmacy location of your choice or have your prescriber send your order to your preferred VCU Health pharmacy.
“Expanding home delivery across all our pharmacy locations is all about providing more access to VCU Health’s full array of pharmacy services for patients,” said Matthew Jenkins, PharmD., vice president and chief pharmacy officer for VCU Health. “We’re proud to offer a number of convenient and cost-effective ways to manage prescriptions as part of VCU Health’s unwavering commitment to care.”
