Our complex family planning team of specialized OB-GYN doctors and nurses provide consultation services and comprehensive, individualized care for patients with complex reproductive health needs.
Our Services
Our team is dedicated to ensuring that you fully understand your options and receive comprehensive services and compassionate, non-judgmental support. We offer the full spectrum of safe, high quality family planning services, including:
- Contraception counseling including permanent methods (sterilization)
- Insertion of intrauterine devices and/or contraceptive implants that may be clinically challenging
- Removal of intrauterine devices and/or contraceptive implants that may be clinically challenging
- Confirmation of pregnancy location, when there’s a positive pregnancy test but no signs of pregnancy within the uterus
- Care for bleeding in the first trimester of pregnancy
- Medical and surgical management of miscarriage
- First- and second-trimester counseling and management of all pregnancy options
- Interruption of pregnancy and abortion services due to socioeconomic concerns, fetal anomalies, or maternal health conditions
- Pregnancy following a pregnancy loss
Our Pregnancy Loss Services
Physical recovery from pregnancy loss and related conditions is generally straightforward. However, emotional and mental health recovery is often dependent on the support you receive – and many people may not have a support system in place. That is why you can count on us to provide comprehensive, compassionate and tailored services. This includes care and support from teams within psychiatry, chaplain services and social work.

- Maternal-fetal medicine specialists
- Obstetric geneticists for gene testing and counseling
- Psychiatric counseling

- Specialized nursing care
- Financial support services
Make an Appointment
Our compassionate, expert team works to get new patients into our office as quickly as possible. Our Family Planning Nurse Navigator or Triage Nurse will work with you to schedule your visits. During your appointment, our team will work with you to understand your medical history and treatment goals. This will allow development of a customized treatment plan.

Referrals
We serve as a referral center for Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, DC and other surrounding states. Please have referring provider call before giving the patient the contact number. You can fax all records before referring to (804) 828-5076.
