Woman with her baby

Our expertise brings you comfort.

No matter what you’re dealing with, you don’t have to face it alone. Every day, people like you come to VCU Health Pelvic Health at Stony Point with a range of symptoms. Our dedicated and integrated team spends time getting to know you and uses their expertise and experience to not only find out what’s wrong – but to tailor a treatment plan that helps you get your life back.

We are Virginia’s only multidisciplinary program for the care of pelvic health conditions. These may result from the stress of childbirth, menopause, genetics or aging. Many of the associated symptoms can be confusing to patients, since the pelvic organs are so closely related both in their location and function.

By coordinating across disciplines from your first appointment, our team can provide a breadth of treatment options, ranging from conservative lifestyle changes and physical therapy to medications, office procedures and surgeries. With our integrated approach, you’ll find that our providers work together daily to co-manage your case, so you get the best care with the right specialists involved.

To learn more, we have a free educational guide, "Understanding Pelvic Floor Conditions." Download it for a closer look at these disorders and to learn more about the treatment options available to you. You will get answers to common questions like:

  • Does my primary care doctor need to diagnose me?
  • Is surgery even necessary?

And when you're ready, call us at (804) 323-1180 to request an appointment with one of our experienced and caring medical professionals. At VCU Health, we're ready to help you get back to living your life...worry free!
