Call for volunteers!

Woman wearing a shirt that says "volunteer"

In anticipation of expanded health care workforce needs related to COVID-19, Governor Northam has issued a statewide call for volunteers to enlist in the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps.  All healthy, able and interested persons should visit VAMRC.org to enlist.  Prior medical experience is not required, and the Medical Reserve Corps will provide training for placement in needed jobs throughout the state.

Alongside the governor’s effort, VCU Health welcomes volunteers with a past or current relationship to VCU or VCU Health to serve in a variety of capacities — from clinical to clerical, sewers and knitters to computer specialists, project managers to customer service.

If you are interested in volunteering with VCU Medical Center or Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, please visit our Volunteer Services page to learn more.

Thank you for your interest!
