Call for volunteers!

placeholder image

In anticipation of expanded health care workforce needs related to COVID-19, Governor Northam has issued a statewide call for volunteers to enlist in the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps.  All healthy, able and interested persons should visit VAMRC.org to enlist.  Prior medical experience is not required, and the Medical Reserve Corps will provide training for placement in needed jobs throughout the state.

Alongside the governor’s effort, VCU Health welcomes volunteers with a past or current relationship to VCU or VCU Health to serve in a variety of capacities — from clinical to clerical, sewers and knitters to computer specialists, project managers to customer service.

Most volunteers do need to work on-site, but the hours can be flexible. Please use VCU Health’s COVID-19 volunteer form, and we will call you if and when the need arises for someone with your skill set. We are planning ahead and want to be ready.

Thank you for your interest!
