The Forum

The Forum for Healthcare Learning and Excellence has been created to support the continuing education needs of all health care professionals and to promote a collaborative interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

The Forum invites nationally and internationally known leaders in health care science and industry to enhance and invigorate the health professionals of VCU Medical Center through a Grand Rounds presentation. VCU Medical Center is committed to advancing the knowledge and practice of all healthcare professionals. By fostering, and promoting a culture of lifelong learning our staff, VCU faculty and students are invited free of care to participate in The Forum presentations. In keeping with our academic mission, our health care colleagues in the community are invited to attend for a nominal fee.

Continuing education units will be awarded to the participants. We look forward to the participation of health care professionals within the Central Virginia community who wish to engage in critical thinking, integrate cutting edge knowledge and enhance their professional practice as they join us in these professional development opportunities.
