Need help
VCU Health’s LifeEvac is an extension and representation of our academic medical center, which provides the highest standard of care in the region across all medical specialties. Through air and ground support, we transfer patients from the scene of accidents and other medical facilities to VCU Medical Center, with paramedics and nurses who begin advanced, specialized treatment while en route.
We continue the excellent care our partners started. Whether on board our helicopters or in the ground ambulance, our close-knit team includes highly skilled pilots, drivers, paramedics, and critical care nurses and specialists.
Our team is specifically trained to bring the same level of care that you will find in any specialty, trauma bay, or ICU at VCU Medical Center. Our top goal for your patient is to ensure stabilization, comfort, and safety on their transport to our physician care.
