Community involvement

Movers and Shakers Walkers 2016 The VCU Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center was envisioned by Parkinson’s community members, the Movers & Shakers, who advocated and raised funds for the establishment of the Center. The Center values its partnerships with the Parkinson’s and movement disorders communities, and strives to learn from all involved. The PMDC is committed to providing educational opportunities and learn from those we serve in order to succeed in both altering the trajectory of Parkinson’s and movement disorders and improve the quality of life for those affected. We also offer resources and specialized support groups.
