The Division of Digestive Health offers a comprehensive Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, our multidisciplinary program designed to offer safe, effective, and minimally invasive treatments for both common and complex surgery conditions including:
- Abdominal wall hernias including ventral, incisional, epigastric, hypogastric, flank, Spigelian, lumbar, parastomal and inguinal hernias
- Biliary diseases
We offer both laparoscopic and robotic techniques, including minimally invasive surgical component separation techniques for complex abdominal wall reconstructions.
Colon and Rectal Surgery
The Colon and Rectal Surgery multidisciplinary team offers excellence in surgical care for the following:
- All benign perianal diseases
- Colon diseases
- Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis
- Diverticulitis
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
- Pelvic Floor Disorders
- Rectal and perianal Cancer
Accredited Fellowship Program in Advanced GI and Minimally Invasive Surgery
Research and continuing medical education remain a dedicated component of evidence-based patient care and outstanding outcomes. As such, our internationally respected faculty members conduct funded clinical and translational research and teach other surgeons the most modern techniques in the field of minimally invasive surgery. We offer an accredited fellowship program in Advanced GI and Minimally Invasive Surgery.
