The AVP of employee relations provides strategic direction on employee relations activities for VCU Health, while serving as the subject matter expert on HR policy as well as federal and state employment laws. Sinclair will develop and implement department priorities while working closely with health system leadership and team members on workforce strategy and key employee relations direction and decisions.

In her most recent role, Sinclair served as senior director of employee relations for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. In this position, she led the centralized employee relations function serving the entire organization and supported leadership to address complex issues facing the organization and develop effective solutions. Sinclair also oversaw key specialty program areas, including leadership development, talent assessments, performance management and workplace safety.
Prior to Memorial Sloan Kettering, Sinclair served as human resources director for ICF International, and human resources generalist and compensation specialist for Media General, both in the Richmond area.
She is a proud Virginia Commonwealth University alum, having earned her Bachelor of Science degree in human resource management from the university. Sinclair also has senior-level HR certification from the Society of Human Resource Management as well as a Facet5 facilitator certification.
