Dr Brar is an exceptional care provider. He explained all procedures and and easily answered all questions that I had. After having an unfortunate experience with another provider, not from this office, he cared about my issue, saw the need for expedited care, and very quickly had me scheduled to resolve my issue. I feel very fortunate to have been seen by him and will definitely refer any family and friends to him and this office.

The last thing I wanted to hear was that I needed an eye injection on my next visit. Dr. Brar convinced me with science and compassion. He made me realize the importance of the shot for my vision. He did not "dismiss" my fear but helped me work thru my concerns.

When I saw the provider he was outstanding. He explained everything in terms that I can understand. He took his time to explain everything to me and I did not feel like he was trying to rush me out of the office to get to the next patient, in fact I felt just the opposite.

Dr. Brar reviewed VERY lengthy medical records before our visit, carefully explained his plan for treatment and what to expect, and took plenty of time to answer all our questions. He even scheduled the appointment for a time when he had extra time since he knew it would be a long appointment. I have tremendous confidence in him. We were referred to Buke or Johns Hopkins but I am very pleased we decided to come to Dr. Brar at VCU Health instead.
