Biography

Dr. Kum-Nji has over 25 years of experience including special procedural skills doing newborn circumcisions and frenotomy in newborns with tongue tie. He was in private practice for several years in rural Mississippi and Tennessee before joining academic medicine. Before joining the faculty at VCU, he taught at the University of Mississippi Medical School and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is a general pediatrician and has published more than a dozen research articles and abstracts in various peer-reviewed journals.
