r. Mark Astoria Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics - Section on Neonatal Perinatal Medicine.
Dr. Astoria is the Chair of the CHOR Neonatal Antibiotic Stewardship Committee and the Neonatal Sepsis QI Committees. He serves as the liaison to neonatal sepsis for the NICU and the VCUHS and CHOR Quality Council. Dr. Astoria clinically serves as Attending Faculty in the CHOR Regional level IV NICU, the Neonatal Continuing Care Program, and on the CHOR Air and Ground NICU Transport Team.
Dr. Astoria is an Epic Physician Builder and NICU Epic Specialty Champion. Dr. Astoria provides clinical perspective to IT professionals regarding the EHR build and functionality, and as an Epic Physician Builder, he updates and creates changes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
