Biography
Dr. Boomer has a DaVinci robotic certification. She was the recipient of the Rosenkrantz Research Award (AAP Clinical Research Award) in 2013 and the M. Judah Folkman Award in 2009.
Dr. Boomer has been an invited reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Surgery and JAMA Surgery. She is also a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association, Pediatric Trauma Society, International Pediatric Endoscopy Group, Association of Academic Surgeons, Society of Critical Care Medicine and American Medical Association.
