Ways to Give

From honoring an individual caregiver to endowing future research in a medical field that has touched your life, everyone has a deeply personal reason for giving. That’s why VCU Health offers you so many ways to direct your gift. We want you to design your giving in the way that is most meaningful to you. Your priority is our priority, and we know how to make the most of every gift.

Annual Gifts

Annual gifts are contributions for the current use of the Health System or any of our programs. Your donation can be restricted to specific areas or left undesignated, which allows us to meet unexpected needs. Annual gifts may be made online or by mailing your gift to:

Gifts of stocks and mutual funds are coordinated by our financial partners at the MCV Foundation and can be directed to any program or area of your choice. Before making a transfer, please contact the VCU Health System Office of Development at 804-828-4100.

Endowments

Endowed gifts are long-term investments aimed at securing the success of the Health System for years to come. They support faculty, research and other key programs within the medical center.

Tribute Gifts

VCU Health offers ways for you to pay tribute to great care-givers or loved ones or to memorialize a loved one who has passed. Honorary gifts may honor a special occasion, show support for someone’s health care journey, or celebrate a completed treatment. Contributions may also be made in honor of doctors, nurses or care partners who made a difference in your care.

Memorial gifts are tributes for those who have passed and may be allocated towards any area you or your family would like to support. For assistance with language or for more information on memorial giving, please contact the VCU Health Development Office.
