Skin

Refreshing your face isn’t always about surgery.

We offer the most up-to-date nonsurgical skin-rejuvenating procedures, including peels, injectable fillers, to smooth and revitalize skin for a more beautiful new you.

Botox®

Botox®, when injected properly, relaxes the muscles responsible for creating furrows and frown lines.  Botox is especially good for treating the vertical lines between the eyebrows that give patients an angry look. For ideal results, it’s essential that practitioners have a thorough understanding of facial anatomy. Botox® results are visible 3-5 days after treatment and results last 3-6 months. Patients who should not undergo Botox injections include women who are breastfeeding, pregnant, or attempting to become pregnant, and patients with neurological disorders like ALS and MS.

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel removes the outer layer of skin, and with it,  the damage caused by sun exposure, acne, and superficial aging.  After a peel heals, the underlying skin that emerges is smoother, more even in tone, and looks refreshed. Peels address rough patches, uneven pigmentation, freckles, age spots, and fine lines.  Most often performed on the face, chemical peels can also treat hands and neck. See our skincare page for our full menu of peels.

Dermal Fillers

Known as injectables, these soft-tissue liquid fillers are injected under the skin to soften facial contours and smooth furrows like frown lines. Fillers are also used to plump lips, which become thinner and lose definition with age. Injectable fillers like JUVÉDERM® and Restylane® cannot address sagging skin, but can add volume to the face or soften wrinkles.

Scar Revision

Even scars that initially look raised or very red often improve significantly over time.  If more than a year has passed and you are dissatisfied with the appearance of you scar or if you have keloid scarring then there are a variety of ways that we can work with you to improve the appearance of your scar.
