Apheresis
We provide apheresis and therapeutic phlebotomy services.

FNA & Cytodiagnosis Center
The Department of Pathology’s Cytodiagnosis Center is staffed by cytopathologists with special expertise in Fine-Needle Aspiration (FNA). It is available to clinicians who wish to refer ambulatory patients with superficial masses for FNA and evaluation by our cytopathologist. Our Center is easily located within the division of anatomic pathology at the VCU Medical Center on the 6th floor of the Gateway Building. Learn about parking at the VCU Medical Center.

Molecular Diagnostics
We perform the quantitative CMV and HSV in CSF assays the same day as received, as long as we receive the sample by 7 AM. The turnaround times for other tests are listed in the Molecular Diagnostic Services Section of the Pathology Laboratory Services Catalog.
