About MyChart

MyChart is a secure patient portal that powers our electronic health records (EHR). This digital version of your medical chart is an easy way to see your personal health information. You can also use MyChart to:

  • Pay your bill
  • Attend telehealth or virtual appointments

Previous portal access

Release of medical information

You can request release of your medical information electronically, through the mail or directly from the facility where you received care. You can learn more about release of medical information here.

Health information amendment requests

To request a change to your medical information, download and complete the medical record amendment form and then send it to VCU Health's Health Information Management Department by email, mail or fax. Learn more about health information amendment requests here.
