First Watch, a restaurant chain with a 34-year history, hosted a grand opening fundraiser for its Midlothian location in February where guests were treated to free meals in exchange for a donation to Children’s Hospital Foundation (CHF).

“We had people giving $50 or $100 donations in some cases,” said Brad Bauer, First Watch’s Director of Operations. “One customer told us that Children's Hospital saved his daughter's life. That's what it is all about. We partner with great organizations like Children's Hospital Foundation with each new restaurant's opening."
