VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill would like to welcome Dr. Kelly McDonald to our family of health care providers.  Dr. McDonald specializes in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Dr. McDonald is currently working at CMH Family Care Center located at 420 Durant Street in South Hill.  She joins Dr. Paul Weidman, Family Physician; Dr. Rebecca Kirker, Pediatrician; and Teresa Parham, Nurse Practitioner at CMH Family Care Center where they offer complete health care for every member of the family.

Dr. McDonald comes to VCU Health CMH with 18 years of medical experience and maintains the practice Rockwell Physicians of Salisbury in Midlothian, Virginia.  She established an Internal Medicine and Pediatric Practice for Bon Secours Medical Group where she also worked as a full time physician.  She has also served as a full time physician for Medical Associates of Louisa (a division of UVA Health) where she was also an Associate Professor of Pediatrics for UVA Hospital.   

Dr. McDonald received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia (now VCU Medical Center) in Richmond, Virginia.  She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics also at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.  She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. McDonald spends her free time by enjoying Lake Gaston with her two sons.  She loves pets and volunteers at a SPCA in Richmond.  She also enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and attending concerts.
