It was my first time meeting this doctor, but she seemed very knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate, and also very down to earth and no-nonsense, which I liked. Not many doctors offer to let you call them by their first name.

Dr. Giunta was very good with laying out a couple of treatment options and allowing me to decide which road I wanted to take. I like that she made me a part of the decision making instead of just laying out a plan for me to follow without considering my thoughts and feelings.

I was so impressed with my experience I reached out to a few friends looking for a family medicine doctor. Not only did Dr. G take time to ask and answer relevant questions. We discussed various options to help with physical and mental health concerns. I felt seen, heard, and validated when considering healthcare options. Based on our conversation I received referral phone calls from VCU Health the same day. As an adult this experience was the best experience I've ever had with a provider and care team.

I'm new to getting medical care, and Dr. Giunta has been so lovely in helping me navigate the healthcare system. She is consistently thoughtful, compassionate and patient with my questions and concerns. She gives clear and thorough explanations and pauses regularly to check in and make sure I'm following her train of thought. She really takes her time during each appointment and makes me feel at ease. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a new PCP.
