I sought out Dr. Giunta specifically because I had heard transgender men say she was very knowledgeable about gender affirming care. After two appointments with her as my provider, that is 100% the case! She is far and away the kindest and most Intelligent doctor I have ever been seen by. It's great to always be on the same page as her and I know she has my best interest in mind the whole time.

Dr. Giunta was very good with laying out a couple of treatment options and allowing me to decide which road I wanted to take. I like that she made me a part of the decision making instead of just laying out a plan for me to follow without considering my thoughts and feelings.

I was so impressed with my experience I reached out to a few friends looking for a family medicine doctor. Not only did Dr. G take time to ask and answer relevant questions. We discussed various options to help with physical and mental health concerns. I felt seen, heard, and validated when considering healthcare options. Based on our conversation I received referral phone calls from VCU Health the same day. As an adult this experience was the best experience I've ever had with a provider and care team.
