Biography

Dr. Justin Haught received his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine before completing a dermatology residency at the University of PIttsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Haught has authored in several peer-reviewed medical journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), the Archives of Dermatology, the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology, and Cutis. Dr. Haught, a native of West Virginia, spends his free time with his family and playing guitar.  He was a national semifinalist in the 1999 Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition.

Dr. Haught has built a relationship with me over time. We do not have to start over for every visit. He remembers, probably by referring to records of my prior visits, what we have covered in the past, and he and I can refer to those experiences and discussions in the current visit. I do not have to remind Dr. Haught about why we scheduled a follow-up appointment. I appreciate this about Dr. Haught.

Dr. Haught is an exceptional physician. I wouldn't go to anyone else for Derm. He is indexical in knowledge, reassuring, always has a plan, speaks to patients like friends, orders labs and procedures quickly and has a fantastic bedside manner (funny, dry, compassionate, self-deprecating, shares a bit of his own experience, etc.). His staff keep the place really bright energetically, its a good atmosphere for patients and staff, you can sense it.
