Biography

Dr. Powell is a nurse practitioner at the CMH Pain Management Services office. She is board certified in family medicine through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, Virginia Nurses Association and American Nurses Association. She serves on the Council on Health Equity Metrics, Council on Quality Clinical Practice, and the Medical Staff Quality and Improvement committee. She enjoys spending time at the Outer Banks with her husband and two Yorkies, Remi and Harper.

Peggy and Meagan are wonderful. Together they cover all issues a person could have. When I asked about a back brace, Peggy immediately started to show me pics of different styles and explaining the pros and cons. Whenever I have an insurance issue, Meagan just says "don't worry about it." They are so perfect and I feel blessed to have them in my corner. Kind and respectful about delicate issues. They make everything easy and we even laugh a little.
