Biography

Dr. Prajapati joined VCU in 2018 and he serves in a dual role of providing consultations to the Children's Hospital of Richmond Departments on the mental health care needs of the pediatric patients at the main hospital and has an outpatient clinic at VTCC.

He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and has been elected as the Fellow of the APA which is an elite group of psychiatrists with this honorary distinction who continue to make significant contributions to the field of psychiatry. His service to the patients and the trainees has been recognized with awards and honors.
