DR BARBOUR MAKES SURE I UNDERSTAND THINGS TALKED ABOUT DURING MY VISIT

Very Good upon arrival and apology for being delayed.

Again, I just wish she could slow down more sometimes. Focus on me more in the visits. This was a well visit. Physical. Basically what I call my yearly appointment. She did check my ears, throat, listened to my breathing, and the nurse did check my bp, temp, etc. I also made sure to have nothing to eat or drink after 11pm the night before because on my own I knew a blood panel would be needed. They did have that done to check things. The results are on MyChart. I have not seen any notations from the doctor about them. And no summary of the appointment up as of yet. I thought a yearly included more.

Dr. Barbour has been excellent in all my encounters with her. I feel blessed to have her as my and my husband's PCP. When we moved and were looking for a new PCP, we prayed God would lead us to a caring doctor. God answered our prayers with Dr. Barbour.

Good!! Understanding, polite, have a heart, professional, very informative, & concern (i.e., my problem with swallowing pills - she had me switch to chewable 81 mg. Aspirin (great).

The doctor is very easy to speak with and invites concerns & makes one feel comfortable.

Enjoy talking to her. She listens & doesn't push me to do what I'm not sure of. She explains then works with me.

I find it difficult to follow or trust and believe in my care. The doctor is almost hyper. She speaks way to fast, has two or three questions at same time on the table, switches between topics/test/procedures before allowing a comment or answer. I feel like I'm answering a question or making a statement two or three behind in the discussion.

I have been seeing Dr. Barbour since August 2019 when my sister recommended her to me. I feel that from the moment I met Dr. Barbour that she has always listened to my concerns and tried her best to help me, or lead me to someone who could help me. She is patient and empathetic. I am glad to have found her and have her as my primary care doctor.
