Health and Wellness Library Program - Rare Disease Day

12:00 PM  -  1:00 PM

Nearly 7,000 diseases are classified as rare and finding useful information on these conditions can be very challenging for patients, caregivers, and the general public. Join us for a Rare Disease Day program - Finding Rare Disease Information on Wednesday, Feb. 24 on Zoom.

In this virtual workshop, you will learn how to find quality, reliable consumer information about rare diseases. We will discuss free online resources that can be used to find rare disease information including MedlinePlusNational Organization for Rare Disorders, Genetics and Rare Diseases Information Center, and more.

This online program is free and open to everyone. Space is limited so registration is required.

To register, visit: Rare Diseases Resources - LibCal - Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries
