Biography
Dr. Al-Kahalili earned his MD with honors for excellence in research from St. George’s University, School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Environmental Science from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology and Genetics from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.
Dr. Al-Kahalili received the Golden Apple Award in 2018 by Drexel University College of Medicine, making him nationally recognized for teaching in medicine. He completed his residency from the Drexel Neurosciences Institute at the Drexel University College of Medicine.
