Biography
Dr. Justin Haught received his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine before completing a dermatology residency at the University of PIttsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Haught has authored in several peer-reviewed medical journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), the Archives of Dermatology, the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology, and Cutis. Dr. Haught, a native of West Virginia, spends his free time with his family and playing guitar. He was a national semifinalist in the 1999 Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition.

Dr. Haught has built a relationship with me over time. We do not have to start over for every visit. He remembers, probably by referring to records of my prior visits, what we have covered in the past, and he and I can refer to those experiences and discussions in the current visit. I do not have to remind Dr. Haught about why we scheduled a follow-up appointment. I appreciate this about Dr. Haught.

Dr. Haught is an exceptional physician. I wouldn't go to anyone else for Derm. He is indexical in knowledge, reassuring, always has a plan, speaks to patients like friends, orders labs and procedures quickly and has a fantastic bedside manner (funny, dry, compassionate, self-deprecating, shares a bit of his own experience, etc.). His staff keep the place really bright energetically, its a good atmosphere for patients and staff, you can sense it.

The dermatologist I have seen for years retired. This was my first visit with Dr. Haught. He was outstanding. I liked how he Interacted with the nursing staff. He utilized their skills, listened to assessment findings, and treated them in a professional manner. He took time to explain a medication preparation to the nurses that was new to them.

Dr. Justin Haught is an amazing medical practitioner. He truly demonstrated the utmost respect for my concerns and medical condition. Dr. Haught effectively used his personality and medical judgment to deliver a comfortable and rewarding patient experience, an experience that made me feel like I was finally being listened to. I have been dealing with my condition for quite some time and Dr. Haught is the first doctor to examine my condition in depth by conducting a biopsy (which is a test I have known I needed because my condition is getting worse). I am a young African American male and am often deemed as "healthy and strong," thus providers fail to inquire further about my condition. Dr. Haught did not fall victim to this systemic trap in the medical industry and saw my concerns/needs in my presentation. Dr. Haught showed immense interests in my concerns and distress my skin condition has been causing me, and for that I am extremely grateful and hopeful that I he can deliver the best treatment possible. He also took the time to use medical language that suit my understanding and describe in detail potential differential diagnoses (I applaud this and I am sure Hippocrates is smiling). I believe that a part of the medical profession is about instilling hope in patients through best practice methods and Dr. Haught went above and beyond the medical call-of-duty. Great job, we need more holistic medical providers like him!

Dr. Haught is awesome. He takes the time to talk to me. Most doctors these days are over worked and are always rushing from one patient to the next. Dr. Haught always takes time to ask how I'm doing and we talk for a few minutes before we get into the reason why I'm there. He is a great doctor!
