Dr. Witte is a wonderful physician. He makes it his aim to know what's going on with your total health (he reviews notes posted by other providers) before I get to the appointment. He always communicates to ensure any issues I had from our last visit are doing well, and makes an effort to see how I am personally doing in my own life (family included).

Dr. Witte is very personable and good at making sure patients are at ease which helps in providing a more effective office visit. He remembered conversations from my previou visit and took time to walk through all of the lab results and explain importance of each test and their implications. He was already familiar with records from my previous primary care provider results and took the time to compare those to the latest results for trends or flags. I had a few questions about previous issues that he very patiently listened to and thoroughly advised. He quickly recommended a course of action and referred me to other services within VCU Health for additional minor treatment (but gave me options on providers to use). I left feeling very confident in my assessment and treatment.

Dr. Witte is an excellent doctor, very professional and knowledgeable. Under his care, my overall health status has improved in readily apparent ways; sugar, weight, and up-to-date vaccinations. However, he gets up about 4 o'clock in the morning, which is astounding. I get up at 6:30 and thought it was because I was old.
