Event Details

The VCU Health Hume-Lee Transplant Center will hold a virtual and in-person education event in February. Patients, their loved ones, friends and caregivers are invited to join us to learn about the advantages of living kidney donation.

During the education event, you will:

• Learn about the living donor evaluation process and expectations;
• Learn how your family and friends can support your transplant journey;
• Learn about living donor kidney transplantation;
• Hear inspiring stories from living kidney donors and living kidney donor transplant recipients;
• Receive important resources and facts on kidney transplantation; and,
• Have an opportunity to ask questions to members of our kidney transplant team.
