Flexible Environment

We know our team members give 110 percent to everything they do. So we try to make it easy for them to create balance with programs that allow them to tailor their scheduling needs in order to maximize their effectiveness at work and at home.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

When benefited team members start work, they immediately begin accruing PTO, up to 27 days their first year. As employment continues, team members can earn up to 43 days of PTO per year. We encourage team members to enjoy the flexibility in use and scheduling of their PTO, giving them the opportunity to tailor the benefit to meet their personal needs. Annually, team members have the option to convert future PTO accruals into cash in their paychecks. They can also cash out existing PTO annually at 50 percent of its value. And if team members do not use their PTO, it rolls into their Sick Time Bank or they can donate it to colleagues in times of need through the Leave Share Program (described on opposite page).

Sick Time Bank (STB)

Team members who adopt or accept foster care children may use the same level of paid leave benefits as new birth parents. After using 24 hours of PTO, team members may use up to six weeks of STB. The combination of STB and PTO means that parents can have time to adjust to the new children in their lives.

Self-Scheduling

We offer self-scheduling in many areas. Team members are able to tell us when they are available to work, and efforts are made to accommodate their requests, providing patient needs are met. Our team members are never required to work overtime, an uncommon policy in the health care industry.
