The right choice for urological care

Our urology team is committed to excellence in patient care and clinical research to help men and women in Central Virginia and beyond. Our sensitive, personalized care can bring comfort back to your life, and peace of mind to your future.

Our mission is to provide respectful and timely urologic and reproductive care. We also strive to educate patients and their loved ones to help their overall health and well-being.

Why urology care is important

Urologists treat conditions related to the urinary tract, kidneys, or genital areas in both men and women. You aren’t alone: Issues such as bladder problems, kidney stones and incontinence affect many people every day. These conditions not only cause pain, but might make you feel embarrassed and interfere with your daily life. We can ease your pain and get your life back to normal.

We also treat reproductive problems and infertility in men, and provide permanent birth control with a vasectomy. For women with reproductive or infertility issues, we have a dedicated Women’s Health team ready to help.

Going beyond everyday care

While many other hospitals provide basic urologic care, we not only treat our patients, but learn from them.

As an academic medical center, our specialists are also faculty and researchers at the VCU School of Medicine. Our team is involved in both clinical and scientific research projects that find new ways to improve care here and around the world. Going beyond everyday care also means we work directly with two laboratories investigating both bladder smooth muscle physiology and urologic tissue engineering.

Our promise

We see conditions like yours all the time. But you’re not just another patient.

Whatever you’re experiencing, it matters to us. Urological issues are sometimes hard to talk about — and even harder to go through — but that doesn’t mean you have to suffer alone or in silence. Our highly knowledgeable team is ready and able to help.

Our providers

Our specialists represent the best and brightest from multiple subspecialties within urology. All of our surgeons are board certified or eligible by the American or European Boards of Urology and represent subspecialty interests that include urologic oncology, robotic surgery, male infertility, andrology, reconstructive surgery, pediatric urology, neurourology, and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Some of our team members are also fellowship trained, meaning they have undergone additional education in a specialized field of urology.
