How to use Zoom

Zoom allows you to easily connect with your provider online.

Be sure to download the free app before your visit.

GooglePlay_120x40Apple_Badge_120x40

Download desktop/laptop version.

Before your virtual visit, you will receive an email from your provider with the link to start your meeting. Click the link and wait for the provider to start your visit.

Here are some helpful tips to have a successful telehealth visit:

  • Choose a quiet, well-lit area with limited distractions. It is best to have light facing you instead of behind you.
  • Give yourself time to download the app and test your camera and audio prior to your visit. The app will ask you for permission to access your camera and video. You will need to grant this access for the provider to see and hear you during your visit.
  • If possible, have these tools and information on hand (note these vary based on visit type):
    • Thermometer
    • Scale
    • Automatic blood pressure cuff
    • Name and location of your pharmacy
    • List of questions you may have
  • Remember, don’t forget to ask questions.

To schedule an appointment, speak with your provider, request an appointment online or call 1-800-762-6161.
