Please bring your favorite teddy bear or doll to the C.A.R.E. Building of VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 4 for this fun event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Doctors, nurses and staff members from VCU Health CMH will be on hand to provide check-ups and treatment, so your favorite loved one will feel better in no time.
Our talented staff specialize in the repair of "lacerations" of seams, stuffing replacement, X-rays, application of band-aids, and much more. While your special friend is being treated, you and your parents will enjoy a tour, a delicious snack, and more!
This clinic is being sponsored by VCU Health CMH's T.R.E.E. Committee, and is designed to reduce any fear or anxiety that your child might have about hospitals and health care visits. Your child will already be familiar with our facility in the event that he or she is ever a patient at the hospital or is ever treated in the Emergency Department or our Dental
Clinic. Your child will also have the chance to visit with members of the South Hill Police Department, the South Hill Fire Department and Southside Rescue. Children will also meet special guest Bubbles the Bear.
The VCU Health CMH C.A.R.E. Building is located at 1755 N. Mecklenburg Avenue in South Hill.
