The Wonder Tower at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU
On track to open in 2023, the new children’s tower brings inpatient, emergency/trauma and outpatient care under one roof. Families will benefit from the consolidation of care under one roof, while maintaining the benefits of being connected to an academic medical center. The new facility will house 72 private rooms; an emergency department; expanded child life services; family amenities; additional operating rooms and imaging capabilities. The facility will also help us recruit and retain top providers so that the best possible care is available close to home for kids across the Commonwealth.
