Safe Kids Virginia

Sept. 23, 2008
Safe Kids Southeastern Virginia will participate in a health fair at the Petersburg Sports Center from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A child safety seat inspection and displays will be provided. For more information, contact Carolyn Sanford at (804) 733-7600.

Sept. 24, 2008
Safe Kids Virginia will partner with Babies R Us, the Virginia State Police and Virginia Department of Health to provide a free child safety seat inspection. It will go from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Radio Disney will be present to entertain families and children throughout the day.

The event will be held at the Babies R Us located at 12153 Jefferson Avenue in Newport News, Va.

Nov. 25, 2008
Safe Kids Virginia will partner with the Virginia Department of Health, Safe Kids southeastern Virginia, and AAA foundation for Safety and Education to provide a child safety seat check. These organizations hope families will stop by prior to their holiday travels and insure all their children are traveling safely. This event will be held at the AAA retail office, 707 Southpark Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Va. Safe Kids Worldwide certified technicians will be available from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to assist families.
