The VCC Program provides access to affordable health care for uninsured individuals living in the Greater Richmond Metro and the Tri Cities areas.
The Basics:
- VCC is a program that coordinates healthcare services and provides access to primary healthcare for uninsured individuals.
- You will need to fill out an application with the VCUHS Financial Counseling Department before you can be approved for the VCC Program.
- If approved, you will receive healthcare from doctors and hospitals of the VCU Medical Center, as well as from community providers that participate with the VCC Program.
- Once in the VCC Program, you must first call your assigned provider for all health care needs, your doctor will assist you in making an appointment to see a specialist if necessary.
