The Center offers an annual Transplant Symposium that is a full day educational conference for all disciplines involved in and interested in transplantation. The conference covers topics such as: immunology, evaluation processes, updated treatment options, and medications after transplantation. This exciting opportunity has had exceptional attendance and we look forward to providing this service to the community.

The Outreach Coordinator provides continuing educational units to health care providers interested in learning about transplantation. She is available by appointment to come to local and distant facilities, such as physicians’ offices and dialysis centers, to speak on transplantation and organ donation. The Outreach Coordinator also provides transplant education to the public. She is available to speak on organ donation and transplant related topics. She is available to speak to pre-ESRD clients, dialysis patients, or civic groups, who would like to learn more about the transplant process.
