Vascular Surgery

Vascular is a 20-bed surgical unit (with four step-down beds) that specializes in the care of the vascular populations in both the pre- and postoperative phase of their hospitalization. Adolescent, adult and geriatric patients weighing more than 30kgs are eligible for admission to the unit.

The vascular surgery may include the following procedures:

• carotid endarterectomy
• abdominal aneurysm repair
• lower extremity revascularization
• amputation
• wound debridement
• vascular trauma
• arteriovenous fistula thrombectomy and placement
