Cardiothoracic Surgery

Cardiothoracic Surgery is a 30-bed surgical telemetry unit providing intermediate and general care for cardiology, post-operative cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplant, plastic surgery and urology surgery patients. Specialty populations include post-operative coronary artery bypass graft patients and post-operative thoracotomy patients.

Care is provided by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and care partners. Telemetry monitoring is provided continuously by cardiac monitor technicians.
