The Medical Respiratory ICU is a 20 bed unit specializing in the care of critically ill adult patients with non-surgical respiratory and/or medical disease. Primary admission diagnoses include, but not limited to: GI bleed, respiratory failure, drug overdose, sepsis, multisystem failure, post-cardiopulmonary arrest, serious acid base and electrolyte disturbances, diabetic keto-acidosis, significant acute compromise of kidney or liver failure. |
