The Clinical Administrator acts as an administrative resource and performs management functions during nonbusiness hours (evenings, nights, holidays and weekends) for the institution.
These duties include:
- assisting hospital staff in problem-solving service delivery issues between and within departments,
- offering administrative presence to address patient/family issues related to service delivery,
- identifying systems problems that contribute to service delivery issues and
- assisting staff in problem solving related to the medical and/or nursing care of patients.
