The Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit is a 10-bed surgery ICU dedicated to the care of critically ill patient status post-cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures. Specialty populations within our units include heart transplant patients, lung transplant patients, LVAD patients and thoracic aneurysm patients. Registered nurses provide care offered at this unit.
