A 20-room, all private
unit that delivers holistic care for women and their
families in a general care setting. Types of patients
cared for include women with gynecological surgery,
ovarian cancer, menopause, breast cancer, perinatal
loss, urological repairs, and general medical
illnesses.
Amenities include aromatherapy, dedicated meditation
room, 2 family rooms with diversional activities for
all ages, and gourmet coffee/tea available in the
family kitchen.
Accomplishments: 20% of staff is certified in a
nursing specialty.
