Neurosurgery Intensive Care

The Neurosurgery Intensive Care is a 14-bed intensive care unit within a Level I Trauma Center. NSICU specializes in the treatment of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with a wide range of neurological disorders. Our clients experience neurological changes from disease processes or trauma, often resulting in sudden lifestyle changes. These changes may be short- or long-term and may have a temporary or permanent impact on the patient and his/her family. The complexity of care requires an interdisciplinary approach to facilitate the patient's progress through the acute phase to rehabilitation, and then, transition back into the community.
