For unexpected injuries, Short Pump residents now have additional care options. VCU Health is moving its weekend orthopaedic care clinic from Stony Point 9000 to Short Pump Pavilion, now open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“We’re excited to be offering same day care for general orthopaedic conditions – such as a sports injury – at a new location,” said Jonathan Clark, who manages operations at VCU Health’s Short Pump location. “Orthopaedic specialists are now able to see patients six days a week.”

Same day orthopaedic care clinics provide services for unexpected orthopaedic injuries, such as suspected fractures and broken bones from a trip, slip or fall.

“Orthopaedic providers can treat a variety of conditions such as sprains, strains, broken bones and tendon or ligament injuries,” said Brittany Revels, PA, who sees orthopaedic patients in Short Pump.

Appointments can be scheduled by calling (804) 828-7069, with seven other clinics – including Stony Point 9000 – also offering same day care Monday to Friday.
