Division of Pediatric Cardiology

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology provides full pediatric cardiology services, as well as preventative and adult congenital heart disease services. The division’s physicians provide transtelephonic echocardiographic services in Richmond, Newport News, and Fredericksburg.

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology is the only National Triple Accredited pediatric echocardiography laboratory (fetal, trans-thoracic and trans-esophageal) in Virginia. The pediatric cardiac catheterization laboratory provides state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional services for infants, children and adults with congenital heart defects, using such tools as implantable devices and lasers.
