The internship at VCUHS is participating in the DICAS (Dietetic Internship Central Application System). This requires that your application be submitted through the central application portal. See CADE website for information. Please follow the DICAS guidelines for submitting your application. The deadline for applications is September 25 for the Fall Match and February 15 for the Spring Match. You will be notified when a complete application is received. Be sure to include all DICAS payments required.

There is also an application fee for the program. Send a check or money order for $50 (no cash), payable to Virginia Commonwealth University Health System (VCUHS). This application fee is non-refundable. The application fee for our program must be postmarked by the DICAS application deadline.

The internship is an 11-month program with one class of six beginning in early August and graduating in early July and one class of six beginning in early January with an early December graduation
